Hello all,

Here is a link to a questionnaire for my univeristy project:

http://www.surveymonkey.com/s/6VB8JG2

I have decided on a project the title of:

‘Best of British:The Relaunch of Norman Hartnell’

I would really appreciate it if you would be able to fill in this quick questionnaire on luxury British heritage brands. There are 10 multiple choice questions and it will take just a few mintutes. Every single response will help me a lot in my final degree project.

Thanks!

I have just learnt that the wonderful Victoria and Albert museum is going to be running an exhibition entitled ‘Grace Kelly – Style Icon’ from 17th April to 26th September 2010.

A beutiful selection of garments worn by the icon will be displayed in the museum, ‘tracing the evolution of her style’. Grace Kelly was one of the biggest and brightest actresses of her time in the 1950s, and is still today being used as a reference for many designers.

On display will be the infamous Hermes Kelly bag, dresses from her films including the gown she wore to accept her Oscar in 1955.

Garments, hats and jewelerry that adorned Grace will be accompanied by posters, film clips and her Oscar statuette. Designers on display include Dior, Balenciaga, Givenchy and Yves St Laurent.

A fee will apply for admission to the exhibition, but it will definitely be worth it. I attened the Kylie exhibition a few years back (I was never a Kylie fan, but I went for the amazing costumes) and left a bit of a Kylie fan! The V&H sure know how to show an exhibition…
