I love Marilyn Monroe, and I have started to collect books, and images and videos about her. I sometimes just have the urge to sit down with a cup of tea, and look through the images of her stunning beauty. The images are so timeless and classic, and will remain popular for many generations to come. People may try to impersonate her, but no one will ever come close.

I have finally got back into the swing of things with this blog, after *ahem* a short while.

I study fashion, and I look for inspiration everywhere. It may come from a photograph I have found, some fabric, a scrap of wallpaper, some architecture, the sea…it is all around…I want to start posting an image a day which I have found that has inspired me.

Today, I am looking at Cambodia. My boyfriend has just landed over there, and I miss him a lot. I hope to go over there to visit him as he will be there for quite a while.

 This image inspires me becuase of the intricacy of the clothing and the jewellery she wears. Her skin looks flawless and she has a dainty smile, making her look truly happy. The flower in her hair is abeautiful touch. I love black and white photography, and this image has a certain softness to it, taking the edge of an image which is full of strong features.

I like the tranquility of the pose.
